People are getting tired of having to choose from two candidates when neither seems like a good option.  I say that in the Primaries and General Elections, there is choice for "None of the Above".  If "None of the Above" gets the highest number of votes, no one wins.  The process has to begin again with new candidates as the two or three candidates on the first ballot are not allowed to run again in the new election.

Voting all too often feels like we really have no say because the party machines choose their candidates from the most loyal and next in line.  You can tell by who they let speak at their party conventions. When I saw Barrack Obama speak years ago at the Democratic Convention, it was clear that he was being groomed.

Political parties need to recognize that Americans need to feel like the people in Washington are like them, not lifetime professional politicians who don't have to participate in things they pass for the rest of the country. There are men and women who have run successful businesses who have offered themselves as a new kind of candidate. People mistake their lack of slickness for lack of intelligence.  Just because a person can read a teleprompter or give a great speech does not mean they are good for the country.  Let's try some "real" Americans who don't live in the Washington DC bublle that is nothing like where the rest of us live.

The funding has to change.  The Unions bought Obama and he has been paying back ever since.  I wonder if all of those new infrastructure jobs will go to Union workers?  Because of the system of special interests pay now, they are paid back if their guys win and after they are out of office, those same special interests pay again with huge speaking fees, bulk purchases of the candidates book and all kinds of other rewards.  If candidates won't sell out to the special interests, they don't get the big donations, they can't compete and the good guys can't win.

I say give the choice back to the people and add "None of the Above" to the ballots.
